Your own mobile home in a family-run 4-star campsite in Argelès-sur-Mer.
Enjoying your own mobile home at L'Étoile d'Or means coming back each time to a 10-hectare wooded estate between the Mediterranean and the Albères mountains, and to the peace of a family-run campsite. This page brings together the rules, the steps to follow and the mobile homes currently for sale.
Your mobile home is there for you all year round, in season and out of season.
No year-round residence: stays on the campsite are limited to 6 months a year.
The mobile home belongs to you; the plot it stands on is rented to you under an annual contract.
Pool area (indoor pool from April to October, outdoor pool from June to September), restaurant and grocery shop from April to the end of September, launderette, fitness room, entertainment in July and August: you can use them during their opening periods.
Pets are allowed for owners. Category 1 dogs are not allowed; category 2 dogs are allowed with a muzzle.
Before you commit to anything, we give you an information notice summarising the rules on installation, use, subletting and resale.
No year-round residence. The mobile home is a holiday residence, not a main home.
6 months a year at most. Use of the mobile home is limited to 6 months a year.
Plot contract. You buy the mobile home, not the plot. The plot is covered by a one-year rental contract, separate from the purchase, which ends when its term expires. The campsite then offers you a new contract, or informs you of a refusal based on a legitimate reason; its terms, including prices, may change from one year to the next.
Fees and charges. An annual fee covers the use of the plot and access to the shared facilities and services during their opening periods. Energy and usage charges are billed according to the days you are on site, and the tourist tax is added. Detailed prices are provided with the contract.
Accepted mobile homes. No more than 20 years old from the date of manufacture, clean, well maintained and in good condition. The mobile home must remain mobile and take up no more than 30 % of the plot (excluding removable awnings and decking).
Subletting. You can entrust us with subletting your accommodation (only for accommodation less than 12 years old).
Insurance. Comprehensive insurance is compulsory for your mobile home and your third-party liability (theft, fire, explosion, falling trees or branches, water damage). A certificate of insurance must be given to the campsite every year.
Changes to the plot. Any change to the plot (planting, gravel, connections…) needs our written consent. No garden sheds (a garden storage box is allowed), fences or chains; gas bottles stay outside the mobile home and there must be room to park a vehicle on the plot.
Barbecues. Gas or electric barbecues and planchas only (no charcoal or wood), as for everyone staying on the campsite.
Life on the campsite. Quiet between 11 pm and 7 am; no driving between midnight and 6 am in high season (park in the outside car park); electric scooters are not allowed on the campsite (they may only be brought, not ridden, to your plot).
Campsite rules. They apply to you as well as to your family, guests, visitors and tenants. They are displayed at the campsite entrance and at reception, and are available on request.
Resale. Selling your mobile home does not automatically transfer the plot to the buyer: for it to stay on site, the prior consent of the campsite and a new contract are required. Tell the buyer, and talk to us about your plans before the sale.
End of contract. If no new contract is signed, the mobile home and its fittings must leave the plot, at your expense, with the removal arranged with us.
New or used, each listing gives the plot, the year and the price. Get in touch to arrange a visit.

Good to know: buying a mobile home that is already installed does not automatically transfer the plot. To keep it on site, the prior consent of the campsite and a new contract in your name are required.
No. The campsite is for holiday residences: year-round residence is not allowed and use is limited to 6 months a year at most. You do, however, have access to your mobile home all year round.
For owners, yes. Holidaymakers (rentals and pitches) are welcome from April to the end of October, and each facility has its own opening periods.
